Part of that help is selling the product and addon software and keeping users in touch with the latest enhancements, but support goes beyond just making sure you have all the tools you need.

Gebesse also offers support and consulting assistance to modify and customise ACT! to suit your business, help you with questions about how to use the program in ways that suit what you do for a living, and to train your staff to use the capabilities of the program. We offer several support options which cover all the consulting, services and products we deal with. Any of the options gives you the full range of support, not just for one product. ACT! ManOngoing ACT! support policy

Support for prior versions of ACT! is as follows:

  • ACT! 1 – Does anyone still use this?
  • ACT! 2 – Written for Windows 3.1. No support or training is available for this version except assistance to upgrade to the latest version of ACT!.
  • ACT! 3 – The first version of ACT! for Windows 95. Anyone who did not upgrade to ACT! 4 is probably no longer an ACT! user. No support or training is available for this version except assistance to upgrade to the latest version of ACT!.
  • ACT! 4 – Stable version of ACT! for Windows 95. No support or training is available for this version except assistance to upgrade to the latest version of ACT!.
  • ACT! 2000/ACT! 5 – Released in September 1999. Other than emergency database recovery, no support or training is available for this version except assistance to upgrade to the latest version of ACT!.
  • ACT! 6 – Released in July 2002. All support for this version was withdrawn by Sage at the end of 2007. Limited support will be available from Gebesse until the end of December 2011.
  • ACT! 7 - Released in September 2004 - All support for this version was withdrawn by Sage at the end of 2007. No support or training is available for this version except assistance to upgrade to the latest version of ACT!.
  • ACT! 8 - Released in September 2005 - All support for this version was withdrawn by Sage at the end of 2008. No support or training is available for this version except assistance to upgrade to the latest version of ACT!.
  • ACT! 9 - Released in September 2006 - All support for this version was withdrawn by Sage at the end of 2009. No support or training is available for this version except assistance to upgrade to the latest version of ACT!.
  • ACT! 2008 (10) - Released in September 2007 - All support for this version was withdrawn by Sage when ACT! 2011 was released in 2010. Support and training will be available from Gebesse until at least the end of December 2011.
  • ACT! 2009 (11) - Released in September 2008 - All support for this version was withdrawn by Sage when ACT! 2012 was released in 2011. Support and training will be available from Gebesse until at least the end of December 2011.
  • ACT! 2010 (12) - Released in September 2009 - Support and training will be available from Gebesse until at least the end of July 2012.
  • ACT! 2011 - Released in September 2010 - Support and training will be available from Gebesse until at least the end of July 2013.
  • ACT! 2012 - Released in September 2011 - Support and training will be available from Gebesse until at least the end of July 2014.
